All laws (statutes, ordinances, executive orders, mandates) of a particular country which govern any Immigration Matter. In the United States, these laws include the Immigration and Naturalization Act, numerous other Federal Laws, all rules, regulations, recommendations and instructions of the USCIS, the Department of State and the Department of Justice, Presidential Executive Orders, Federal and State Case Law, and State and Local laws and ordinances. Because in the United States Immigration issues are not the exclusive jurisdiction of the Federal Government, Sates, Counties, Cities and Towns may enact laws or ordinaces which can influence the legality of Immigration Matters.
